Rick Santelli: “Zero jobs created” under Obama’s economy
Rick Santelli takes issue with Obama’s claim that his Administration has created 5 million new jobs…
Squawk Box October 18.
A lot of jobs have been created under Obama’s leadership — 4.4 million by the bureau’s latest count. What Obama did not say, however, was that the nation shed 4.3 million jobs during the early days of his term, and that the net gain since he took the oath of office in January 2009 is just 125,000 jobs.
$1 trillion in stimulus funds for $125,000 jobs? That’s like $8 million per net job gain.
Update: Siri has confirmed my calculations.
