Daily Kos tries to discredit their own poll showing Romney leading +4

Obama – 46
Romney – 50

Daily Kos: Don’t believe our poll!

At a time when other polls are moving back in the president’s direction, our own weekly poll by Public Policy Polling saw the opposite—a two-point Romney gain.

That Sunday sample, about a quarter of the total, was entirely responsible for Romney’s favorable numbers. That’s why the good pollsters collect data over multiple days, to smooth out such irregularities.

And with no external news even suggesting the big Sunday collapse, it certainly smells like an outlier.

Last month, I explained why Republicans engaging in “skewed” polling conspiracy theories were retarded.

Now, it’s the Democrats’ turn: The Obama Campaign Is Slamming Gallup For Skewing Its Poll Results…

President Barack Obama’s presidential campaign slammed Gallup Monday over the results of a new Gallup/USA Today poll that shows Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney leading by five points among likely voters in swing states.

In a memo released by the Obama campaign, pollster Joel Benenson calls the Gallup/USA Today survey an “extreme outlier” that reveals “underscores deep flaws in Gallup’s likely voter screen.”

For future reference: Losing side = Complains about polls. #FACT
