Amir Khan is getting beat up by random thugs off the street now
This time last year, Amir Khan was one of the most highly regarded young fighters in boxing. He had a deal with HBO, he was one of Golden Boy Promotions’ most promising stars, and he was on course for a multi-million dollar payday against Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Super stardom was right around the corner.
And then this happened…
The boxer, 25, and his brother Haroon, were allegedly victims of an attempted car-jacking in Birmingham.
The gang targeted Khan’s £100,000 Range Rover but were reportedly ‘dropped one by one’ by the former world champion.
But Khan’s alleged attacker disputes that version of events.
He adds: ‘Ask him to explain this: Why have I got his f***ing Porsche keys, you waste, why have I got this Louis Vitton f***ing wallet – it’s yours, you waste, and it’s got your 500 Euros in it.’
