You know what would be super productive right now? If we pretended these polls were a part of a vast, liberal conspiracy. I mean, it’s not like the pollsters’ livelihoods and ability to send their children to college rely on the accuracy of their results or anything. And it’s not like they were right in 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2010.
Let’s use a 33-year-old poll outlier showing Carter leading Reagan to bolster our false hopes.
