Hey, remember when you RINOs told us that we had to nominate Mitt Romney because he was the only one that could beat Obama?

Don’t worry. I’m sure it’s all a liberal conspiracy. It’s not like these pollsters have a stake at being right or anything. It’s not like their ability to pay their mortgage and send their kids to college has any relation at all to the accuracy of their polls.

But now Fox News confirms: Obama 49-40.

The president would take 49 percent of the vote compared to Romney’s 40 percent in a head-to-head matchup if the election were held today, the poll found. Last month, Obama had a four percentage-point edge of 45 percent to 41 percent. This marks the second time this year the president has had a lead outside the poll’s margin of sampling error.

If you’re reading this and you’re thinking: “But, but, they’re oversampling Democrats!”

It’s time to face reality: There are more Democrats than Republicans because A) most Americans are stupid and B) Republicans have betrayed the conservative base once too often.
