As you can expect, women are universally applauding the Dove thing. Would the public be as tolerant about shredded muscle dudes vs average joes with beer bellies and moobs?

We’re supposed to accept women’s fatness for some reason. The same tolerance doesn’t appear to exist for disgusting men — in fact TV, movies, and women are always making jokes about out of shape beer-belly balding men. Ever seen a TV show joke about a fat woman?

A few extra pounds on a women can be tolerated — I don’t expect every woman to be a VS model. But why not try to be? Why not have a high standard? If we’re not improving then we’re getting worse.

Even with old age there’s no excuse. There’s old ladies who complete in fitness competitions and run races or whatever… they look better than many 20 year old girls today who stuff their faces with McD fries or Starbucks FrappaFaticcino.
