Obviously, the only reason to have an offshore bank account is to maneuver the tax system to pay as little in taxes as possible. Unless you’re a fugitive of some kind with a suitcase full of cash looking to retire in a tropical paradise in anonymity, there is literally no other reason to have an offshore bank account.
