I bet you any thing this guy is going to be hit by the Obama gustapo for saying the truth.
This NBC hit squad does not even bother to feign objectivity and hide their obvious loyalties and political beliefs. Matt Lauer shames our alma mater and makes me ashamed to admit I went to Ohio University. At least I earned my degree, he did not. He dropped out of college but they gave him his remaining credits based upon work experience. Funny how that does not apply to anyone else, or how his unearned Telecommunications degree somehow makes him a political science and global finance expert. This tool has about as informed of an opinion as Paris Hilton, and is just as obnoxious. Are the only viewers of The Today Show people awaiting the next train wreck? Do people really tune in to this tripe to inform themselves of current events or arm themselves with any knowledge?
Matt Lauer has disgusted me for years. And this is no exception. You know, if no one watched him, he’d be out of a job. I’ve decide that either people just don’t care, or they’re stupid. One of the two. I won’t watch him; no one should.
And as to his credits and him being a political science/global finance expert- what’s good for the common citizen doesn’t apply if you’re in with the who’s who. And he’s in with the people to whom rules and laws don’t apply.
If rules and laws applied to everyone, then Obama might not be so quick to do away with school vouchers in DC. But that’s happening because he’s got the means to send his girls to private schools. But he can’t allow the common citizen the choice.
Rick Santelli is a nasty person gaining from the right wing pushers. The conservatives are so desperate they will do and say anything. Haven’t they done enough to ruin this country? Trashing Matt Lauer doesn’t fly.
You people are nuts. The hatred on this site is palpable. I’m looking forward to seeing if you will publish my comment which disagrees with your skewed worldview. By the way, I have bought one house in my life, which is paid for, and my retirement funds have suffered too. But I understand that it is a bunch of wall street geeks using math to take ridiculous risks that caused the problems we face today. They took their profits in the past 8 years, and have left the rest of us to clean up their messes.
